What is a lead generation API?

Which filters does the people search accept?
Keyword, job title, company name or URL, past company, location, school, industry and network degree. Results come back as profile records with the profile URL, current role and company, ready for enrichment.
How do you get the email of a lead?
Call the email finder with the first name, last name and company domain, then the email verifier before sending. Both are actions of the enrich endpoint and return a confidence level with the address.
Can I search from an AI agent?
Yes. The search, enrichment and outreach endpoints are exposed as tools through the LinkupAPI MCP server, so Claude, Cursor or your own agent can build a list and start the outreach in one conversation.
Do the results stay fresh?
Every search runs at request time, so a job change or a new company shows in the next run instead of in your bounce rate. Nothing is stored between calls.
